Poets' Asylum -> Vagina Monologues -> Eleanor Wilmot The Poets' Asylum - VDAY

Comments from Eleanor Wilmot

At age 77, I attended a play where my poetic cohorts played parts. The controversial monologue was given a stupendous reception and our gang was wonderful in their performances.

To hear how women progressed through the generations coming out of taboos to speak of their recognition of a vagina is astounding. My congratulations for the perceptions given to a world of women, some who never heard the real truth of their femininity.
