[image: Khary Jackson] This week at the Poets'
Asylum<http://poetsasylum.org/>we'll close out February with a feature
by
*Khary Jackson* (aka 6is9), the St. Paul, MN powerhouse who took the indy
crown in 2007. Jackson is a poet, teaching artist, playwright, actor, dancer
and sometime musician. He is a Detroit native, currently representing the
Twin Cities. His aim is to be a quality ambassador of poets, as well as
artists in general.
Join us at Jumpin' Juice and Java (335 Chandler Street, Worcester). The
sign-up list goes out by 6:00 p.m. and the reading starts by 6:30 p.m. No
cover however please put some money in the bucket; it's how we pay the
feature.

February 21 Revisited
*Marc Marcel* returned to the Asylum this week as our feature. With a
practiced ease filled his set with poetry and banter. His dynamic voice
filled the room even as he struggled with the mechanics of the mic stand
(and a couple of loud voices in the back of the room). We're thankful to
have him in the house. Thanks too for the new folks who read in our open
mic; we hope you'll join us again.
