December 7th Revisited

Another cozy open mic this week which included our iWPS rep Alex
Charalambides. He heads south for the 2008 Individual World Poetry
Slam<http://individualworldpoetryslam.com/>this week. Send your happy
thoughts in his general direction.

*Michael Brown* was our feature this week. After adjusting the mic he
abandoned it for the first 4 or so poems, all strung together with a bit of
song between each. He wandered through the audience, connecting with those
gathered, discussing past lives, the archangel of jazz and a long slow
death. He then took to the mic for the rest of his set, sharing tales of
clockworks, some summer words for a cold night, a couple of covers from *Off
the Coast* and more. A great set from an excellent performer. Thanks
Michael.
