It takes more than a venue and dynamic hosts to make a long running poetry reading a success. Add on to that the other activities the Worcester Po8ry Project has undertaken, such as the Shakti women's writing pact, fielding a Slam team, hosting the 2005 Individual World Poetry Slam championships, organizing the 2002 + 2003 V-Day performances, and more.
